I've done some experiments myself. Try changing the headline around a few times. I've found success in "Lookin for love" (Don't know why) and "Master the Magic!" Try something that grabs attention. If you get that you can lure them into your profile. Also try doing some reaserch. "Online dating for dummies" Is good. Also try some internet searches for online dating advice. Hope that helps!
