out of someones league? In a way -- most people can't understand the rules of the league I'm playing in. |

out of someones league? Never since I refuse to join one or be a part of one. I am me if that isn't good enough so be it. This actually is a huge pet peeve of mine. I hear this statement and immediately think the person making the statement, "They are out of my league" is copping out and is putting their insecurities on the other person that probably has no clue nor gives a damn in the first place. |

I'm in a league of my own so I have no idea..... Same here! Usually, I'm in the insanity league. Intimidation is a weird emotion. It can sabotage a lot of really great opportunities. Melody |

Yes, it happens to most of us.....until you learn to feel really good about yourself to the point that you don't give a rat's tail...then you will feel like that...and when you have met someone that you love and you feel is in your league, you won't give a hoot about that girl/guy who was out of your league in the first place.....

out of someones league? Financially yes. I'd love to be in the same "league" with Donald Trump. |

out of someones league? That is a loaded question. Always wonder if it really means "don't meet the one's standards". Or does it mean, "I don't think I measure up to your standards?" Bottom line is that people are people. We all have good and not so good traits. No one is better than anyone else. |

Ohhhhh, I can think of a few people from this very site that think differently. |

Nah I'm like the draw four color switch UNO card. I can meld with whatever and sound smarter than most. Be seeing you.

Here is the thing.
If YOU feel like you do not have something of yourself that makes you worthy, then you will not be worthy. If that is the case, then its time to do something about it. Its time to hit the Gym. (these are just my own ideas that I think can help, take with many grains of salt) Or Learn an instrument. (also just the first two things to come to my mind lol) Or Look back inside until you do find something YOU think is worthy, and make sure everyone knows how ****ing special you are becuase of it. Sometimes you just need an ego boost, and there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes its not what you lack, unless its the insight into what makes you special. If you fail to see your own special nature, and fail to show others, then you are indeed out of contention, you are not a contender. |

I've never understood thinking of people as being in or out of my league. There will always be someone who is smarter, more attractive, funnier, has more 'stuff', is better in some way than I am...but that goes for me, too. There will always be something I am better at than the next person.
