A typical fall day here in Alberta. Cool and a little bit of sunshine. It's actually quite pretty. The leaves have already changed colour and are dropping off the trees. Frosty mornings and cold nights. The afternoons are livable if you're in direct sunlight and there's no wind. Another summer has passed and winter's fast approaching.

YAY!! FALLS HERE!! I love fall...so crisp so cold ahh so alive

Jenni, I feel the exact opposite. I associate it with the coming of death (winter).
I love the spring! |

Fall??!!? What's that... oh yeah, hurricane season's almost over... but other than that... not to much autumnal activity here in south florida...
~~~~~~~ Hey Kid!! I had a pic of my beach up here yesterday... fyi for when it gets too cold up there... which I know will be coming soon. |
Jess-
Back to your original topic question- one nice thing about living in an international city like Miami is that there is a great deal of interest in other nations... although once again it is primarily due to self-interest, because so many people here are from others places... Mostly south america, the carribean, and eastern europe. There is a very large Cuban population and reports (so far unconfirmed but have occurred several times) that Fidal Castro has died have been met with dancing in the streets. It's nice to have so many different perspectives. |
Ahh but Harry without death there can be no rebirth
I like the idea of living somewhere there's no death or rebirth. Just continual life. Summer all year round. I love spring because it's the end of winter but summer is my favorite.
Hi Anoasis One of these days I'll have to spend some time on a beach somewhere and see if I like it. I get the feeling I would. |
ok I might consider living where it is continually summer if I can do nothing but eat mangoes all day...hard to type very stivky
Sadly my mango tree bore no fruit this year- I'm not sure why. but the coconuts are ripening and there is still some star fruit.... please help yourself. Kid- I don't understand anyone who doesn't like the beach! You should try it! Nite. |
right now my two dogs are taking a poop in my backyard....
guess on the flip side, could use fertilizing? Sorry, just lighting up here..Alot of what most of you have conveyed here ..I coudn't agree w/you more...So much truth to it... Still, I have a smile on my face cuz I love my dogs and watching them relieve themselves, (by my birds of paradise I might add)... yeah, maybe I'm in my box at the moment..nothin' wrong w/that...because I know tomorrow, I'll wake up and switch gears and look outside of my box...as we should be aware of the world outside of our backyard.... |
