I was speaking about gun control to a friend of mine who happens to own a lot of guns.
He was waiting on a new gun he had purchased to come in and he mentioned that he had the ammunition for the gun and was getting irritated about having to wait on the gun. The " waiting period " had already passed and he was just waiting for it to be delivered to his local gun dealer. A thought struck me in the middle of our conversation. I can't really understand the concept of gun control because the people who break the law couldn't care less about it. But, rather than have gun control....wouldn't it be better to have BULLET control?? Isn't a gun with no bullets nothing more than a club??? I say we let people have the guns, but put a waiting period on the bullets. |

Yeah, but it's easier to control getting a gun that bullets. My dad reloads his own bullets. Can't control those. He can make thousands at a time.

I'd sooner give an unstable friend a few bullets than I would lend him my gun... at the rate we're going there will be a waiting list for bullets anyway, the stores are having shortages already

actually they passed a new law that within a few years all ammunition will have serial #s on each one so you better make sure no one steals your bullets

I like Chris Rock's idea: Bullets should cost $5,000. That way there would be no accidental stray bullets hitting anybody. And you know somebody really wants you dead when they put $20,000 worth of bullets in ya.

They can restrict access to the stuff needed to make Meth... They can restrict access to reloading equipment and the other necessities. Can't make bullets without gunpowder. |
