lmfao!! yes it is... but is it better?

sadly... i'd have to say there's been 1 maaaaybe 2 times it has been... ><

but for the most part nope!! besides what's better than getting yer girl to hit the big "o" then waking up next to her?

to me a hand and a headset(or phone) just isn't quite as satisfying... ><

but still... that doesn't mean it isn't possible. LDRs don't even have to be romantic... do they? they can be if you let it...

I have many long distance friends who i regularly keep in contact with. some of which i've never even met. :)

For me I want to look into there eyes, I want to touch their skin, I want to smell their scent, I want to laugh with them, I want to cry with them, I want to hold them, I want to feel their heart beat... That's how to feel love

How do you get that from words on a screen

Maybe I'm just old fashioned

I guess it's better to have nothing than a little less than perfect?

I don't think so. There are way too many other variables that are present when falling in love with someone, and they just aren't present when you're online. The best you can hope for is a general idea on what the other person's about.

The ONLY way to determine if someone is actually right for you is to meet and spend time with the person you're talking to while online. Other than that, you're just spinning your tires against sand.

supposedly its easier for women to than men...women fall in love with their hearts and ears, men with their eyes and hand..or so goes the saying..

Sexy!! Why didn't you just tell me you were feeling this way.. I feel this way too!!laugh laugh
Just kiddin'

Online stuff is mainly lust, or a feeling of having a strong connection with a guy/girl. But until you meet them in person, true love cannot develop. JMO

it is possible, they still talk to each other, and share their thoughts and dreams, what they like and talk about their day and what they want for the future, all thats lacking is that they do that in person, i think its good cuz physical touch and sex doesnt become the main focus, dont get me wrong, sex is great an all, but i want to love the girl mainly for her heart, not her vagina flowerforyou

You're right there, HGG.

Heart is where it's at.

offtopic I was given a rubber brain today, by a nice nurse. It's a "squeezer" that is used to pump the blood pressure.
I don't know if she understood my meaning when I said, "I want one of those!"

I think if both are honest it is possible to fall in love but how deeply or lasting I have doubts about. You hear of couples falling out of love after 20+ years of marriage and I would think they know each other very well but can't work through the inevitable discoveries/changes that go with marriage..

As I've said on many occasions, I think it depends on what your definition of love is, whether it must fit neatly into a pre-conceived ideal, or whether you can imagine other perspectives.

The person who has a definitive and/or traditional idea of what love and relationships should be probably won't be able to love in any other way. Also, who am I to tell them what they feel is, or isn't, love?

It has happened to me. I did love my boyfriend before I ever touched him. Meeting him only solidified and intensified the feeling.
