You give up on a relationship when you know things will never change no matter how hard you try, of course.

You give up when the decision to give up lifts 1000 lbs off of your shoulders. You know then, that it is the right thing to do.

You give up on a relationship when you know things will never change no matter how hard you try, of course? ... and since people can't change people then both need to move on and seek their happiness elsewhere when things go awry. The hardest thing to do is accept someone as they are -- warts and all. The level of compromise will vary with each relationship, but no matter what, relationships should just flow with very little effort. If a relationship is a chore then break it off!! Melody |

when you find yourself banging your head against a wall.
When the same argument keeps coming up and there is no answer...and no one wants to fix it. |

If you have asked that question to yourself then its time, sorry. I know how it feels, I held my marriage together for years for my sons sake. Those words echoed in my mind every day.

If you ask the question, what am I doing here? then its probably time to change directions.

When the thought of going home makes you sad, rather than happy.
