Why would anyone be sad or embarrased to be on several dating sites?
I've been on lots of 'em! The freer the better! LOL.

I've had a profile up on dating sites for seven years. Dating sites for
me are not a means to an end, so to speak, I'm there primarily for the
forums ...the ones that have them...and just to meet different people
from different places and have, like, cyber pen pals.

In the seven years I've been on dating sites, I've met...ohhhh..maybe
nine guys?

None of them were what I'm looking for in a man. A couple had
"potential," but the others weren't even close.

I would very much like to have a man in my life..but not just A
man..he's got to be THE man..I won't settle for less than what I deserve
or want and I don't expect him to settle for less than what HE deserves
or wants, either. If the chemistry isn't there, it's time to move on,
way I see it. The next man who is in my life is going to be the last man
who is in my life (hopefully) so I'm extremely "picky" about who it is I
will even meet, much less consider for a long-term relationship.

I have been in a few with no real luck. plentyoffish had a few psychos,
singles.net - met one nice guy but no connection, tried eHarmony -
nothing there, that was terrible, same at match.com.

To me this is more of a friend site. I gave up on dating for now.
Concentrating on fun with friends!

I do have a myspace account but I set it on private and only have
friends on there no dating!
