What does everyone think about piercings, mostly guys. I have quiet a
few and alot of people are either freaked out or just can't stop staring
at them, so I want to know different opinions, and if you have any share
:)

i personally dont see nething wrong with peircings. i have my navel and
tongue done but everyone i hang out with have atleast five peircings.
then again a good friend of mine owns a shop and thats where i met most
of them. the way i see it is what u do 2 ur body isnt everything that u
r.

I think they are cool if they are what you like. I think people who let
themselves be freaked out by that are really out of touch. I can
understand not wanting them yourself, but if you are shocked by someone
with a bunch of piercings you must not get out much. Nipple piercing is
quite sexy to me.

But just like tattoos, they are a very personal thing, and are generally
self-expression in a very personal form. Like much art I find some
things tasteful and exciting, and other thing odd and shocking.

Nothing wrong with piercing, just don't over do it. I pierce my nose and
it looks sexy.

i think peircings are pretty hot in moderation but some people look like
they got smacked with a tackle box

See i agree with you guys its not a big deal but i've met alot of people
that are freaked out cause i have my monroe done and i seriously never
here the end of it!, i love piercings and tattoos i think they make life
more interesting, its just body art and can be an expression.

I see nothing wrong with piercings long as the person know what they are
doing and the needles are very clean better yet charge them everytime
when in use. I'm personal scared of needles so it's very unlikely that
I'll get anything piercings not even my eye lobs:)

Never had one, never will. The same goes for tattoos.
You never know how your attitude to them will change in years to
come.

Got my tongue done and well the saying no pain no gain does not hold
true here...it didn't hurt one bit!

piercings are cool I dont have as many as i use to but i use to get alot
of weird comment and glares but hey its my body , if i want to have
piercings and tats i will and for the people who dont like it well they
can kiss the devil on my ass ! I got my lip, tounge , my ears are
streched out to a 2 . my frontom is up to a 8 and my nips are done oh ya
and a prince albert ring to . A.d as far as the pain went for any of
them well lets see they didnt hurt , but to any guy thinking of the
prince albert ring you might want to watch out for the first pee after
you have it done kinda smarts alittle and you might be peeing a little
blood , but hey she will be very interested when you get it done !

A couple of well placed piercing are ok on some people, but look horrid
on others. Much like a haircut that doesn't look good on everyone. Of
course, those who get them all over their face and such appear to be
into self mutilation, and I wonder what is wrong with them at times.
Personally, I think anything other than getting your ears pierced looks
ugly, but whatever, there are a lot of women who would date these
"tackle boxes" so not like it is going to hurt anyone. My son's first
gf called me when she got her tongue pierced, LOL sounding like she was
looking for approval. Told her point blank, "Frickin stupid, don't have
any clue why you would do such a thing. You do know that it makes you
look like a slut, right? No, I'm not going to tell you to rip it out,
but I am sure not going to say I think it's ok either. Now go gargle or
something."

I like them. Got my nose done years ago... Daughter is getting her
eyebrow done. (any other body part-except maybe a nostril, and
cartilage- for her can wait 'til she's an adult.)

I am just glad that my kids are as repulsed by them as I am. My son
even completely lost interest in a girl he had a crush on when he was
younger, the second she pierced her navel. VERY conservative. LOL

I do wonder how some folks will think later in life after they've used

As with anything to the extreme, it's one thing to be a part of a
culture. It's quite another to live it.
