Good morning all I hope that you all slept well. Woke up this morning turned on the radio just to hear news that my favourite baseball player Reberto Alamar has AIDS. Almost started to cry.

That is sad, what's worse is we're dwindling as a society on AIDS awareness. I remember growing up it was all over the place, school, billboards, TV. Now hardly anyone talks about it or brings it up... did I miss something? Are cases suddenly dwindling? or is it that we've closed our eyes to the danger... dunno. my step day found a one of them touch tone phones a few weeks ago still brand new looking,someone dropped it

Aparently this is supposed to be as good as the iPhone with out the capability of being able to talk. I am still learning it. But I did learn how to get on the net pretty quickly though LOL

Hello there :) You know they did find a cure for AIDS (well, HIV, but it's pretty much the same, only "advanced"), although it's still in testing and all that wonderful stuff. The actually cured two people I believe. One by transplanting bone marrow from someone who was naturally immune to it, into an infected person. The other by transplanting blood stem cells from someone naturally immune, into the infected person. so all hope is not lost for your player :)
