way of communicating your interested in someone phone text? and why? I like to start out with emails,then I want to go off site to voice Yahoo or phone. I am pretty leary about giving out my phone number so I usually use voice chat either Yahoo or skype. I like it so much more since you can hear the person's voice inflections along with spontanteous comments. As soon as they are comfortable I also prefer to go to Webcam... |

way of communicating your interested in someone phone text? and why? Face to Face, but if that's not possible at the time, then Phone is best. I like to hear their voice, tone, breath, laughter, etc. Much more personal and harder to hide emotions. Of course, I like to start out with the initial emails, then proceed to IM. Then I prefer phone conversations and eventually meeting face to face if all goes well thus far. |

I prefer smoke signals to begin with and then to move on to Morse code once some trust has been established.

However, I like to establish a hierarchy when communicating with someone- First it's IM/text/email to start off with. It's more or less to get a feel for the other person. Once I've gotten to know the person for a while (and I'm not scared away), I'll graduate to phone convos at some point. And then will come the in-person communications. |

Face to face is really the only way to get it across effectively. If and when I find someone I am interested in I try to get off the computer as fast as possible....I really don't like communicating that way, I understand sometimes it's all we've got but in the real world is where I live and prefer to communicate in the here and now!!
