engraved upon the shiny deck
the line and scrawl
of south easter squall
that pulled the wheel
from an even keel
torrent sublime
for there is no reason
etched deep
of constant relief
holding close
nickel dime infer
for these things
follow upon the ethereal strings
that hubbub profane
where matter is
a matter dear
that frozen place
quiet of motion
every mote is still
in bliss believe
for bliss live
where breath is short
breathe forever long
