i was wondering if any women on here has been engaged to get married but ended up having to call it off. i was engaged to get married to my ex girlfriend back in 06 but i had to call it off

I was engaged to the father of my kids for 7yrs.

Our wedding savings were stolen by 1 of his dodgy mates who i told him not to trust.

I saw it as an omen.

Yes -- when I caught him cheating I broke it off. He married the other girl and when she dropped kicked him to the curb he attempted to get back with me through his family.

Yes. It ended when he got another woman pregnant while in Iraq and then married her.

I was engaged to a guy who was terribly violent. He gave me the ring and then beat the crap out of me.

Needless to say, I basically had to move out of town while he was at work, with everything unlisted so he couldnt find me.


I was also engaged to my son's dad, but he was too immature to even take care of us properly.....i.e. basic needs I had to call it off and moved out. He then went on to become a meth addict. We call him "Mike on the bike" now......and were not talking motorcycles!!
