I know where you're coming from, as I, too, am a disabled female. I think the right guy will look beyond superficial exterior stuff to see the real woman inside, or so I've been told. I haven't met my right guy yet, and I'm 38 y/o, so I can't confirm this, but it seems to make sense to me. Have you tried joining any local organizations to meet people? I joined a local political party the other week, no dates yet, but at my age I am no longer looking for dates, just friends, and I have made a couple of those already. Try joining a group that interests you, that way, if nothing else, you'll make friends and even if they aren't your type date-wise, they may have friends who have friends, etc., etc.. Hang in there. I truly believe there is at least one someone out there for everyone, some of us just have to look a little harder to find our special man/woman. Best wishes from SheNerd |
