he get this tunnel vision thats what I call it but it hyperfocus thats what I have learned and when he is with anyone he gives his all............but that only is good when its about you when he does it to others then it get irritating.......lol The hyperfocus may be because of his meds for ADHD if he is on any. Also, any chance he may have PDD NOS, too? In some people, it coexists. Focusing on others? Hmmm....that doesn't sound like ADHD to me. More a flaw in another area.... http://www.adult-adhd.com/relationshipstory.html He moved to another state so he has been off his meds for the past month and a half..........oh if anyone had ADD he has.........before I knew I always thought wow how did this guy ever survive........he looses things and forgets things he put down and I thought that he just had a bad memory but it was way worse than that.......until he told me and then I researched it and he is a text book ADD........he has is impulsive and he blows up at little things that others(fam) tells him........he has never been that way with me..........he is very intelligent but he cant put his thoughts together when he is confronted by an issue.........but he got better with the meds and I just hope that he gets his stuff situated there so he can go back to focusing because at this moment he cant even focus on his job......he gets stressed out when he has to do it longer than an hour interval |
