What is the nicest thing that somebody special has done for you?

I received a text message that had a photo of that person holding up a sign that said "Miss U"

I almost cried because it was so sweet!

I shared this with someone the other day...

When I went in to labor with my daughter, I really wanted to see her being born. But I had to have a C-section. Because of complications, they had to put me under and I never got to see her until a couple of hours later when I woke up so I missed out on everything.

Six months later at Christmas, my Sister hands me this big package and in it is an 8x10 photo of my daughter just 2 minutes old. She told me that she talked to the nurse and told her what was going on and the nurse let her go into the nursery and take pictures while they were doing all the normal baby tests on her. She also had lots of other smaller pictures that she had taken as well. She wanted to give me the pictures sooner but wanted to make it a special present. I don't think I have ever cried as much as I did that day, not to mention being eternally grateful, and even now thinking about it has me teary eyed!

That, my friend, is very special. I, too, had a c-section and am glad i was awake to see/hear everything. I am glad you have those pictures.

My ex called me on my birthday. I don't even remember hers!

Seriously, a few years ago my sisters boyfriend slapped a handprint into my 4yo nephews face so I beat him half to death. Then beat him some more. Got arrested after someone saw him stumbling down the street. Got fined 3,000 bucks and told the judge "I ain't paying it, so take me away".

Next morning they come to the cell and say "Come on you're going home". I told em they had me confused with someone else but it turns out a friend of mine went down and paid the 3 grand. He said "I just didn't want to see you in jail". That was a pretty nice thing.
