So I'm looking at a profile and the guy has it set for "Looking for a woman to marry". Yet under marital status it says "married".

Is the person confused? Because under religion, it does not say Mormon. In fact, as far as I know, the religion selected is one that does not do multiple marriages......

I heard a guy on the radio. He wanted to request a song for his wife. The DJ asked how long he had been married and he said I'm not married. The confused DJ tried to confirm the married part again, and the guy said he wasn't married. The DJ said you wanted a song played for your wife, and the guy said oh yeah. He just wanted a song played for her birthday.
Now that is what I call confused.

The first guy may already have a wife and he is looking for a better one. He wants to replace her.

The second post is a guy who has an X-wife and still calls her his "wife."

Some men will continue to call their X-wife "wife" because they refuse to let go.

Like, perhaps he's thinking about a divorce?

Still, why would anyone sign a piece of paper to say you are married? Do you have wool and go baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
