when I go into labor? the thought scares me, but i need to know because my due date is coming up closer.

cramps, starting in your back and radiating around to your tummy.......it's been quite a while, but I think that was it. At first I was just achy, but then I could tell they were coming every few minutes.

Don't worry, you may not know right away, but it will soon become clear. I didn't know the first time I was in labor. I thought I was just sick. If you're feeling cramping in your abdomen and lower back you are probably going into labor. You can always go to the hopsital and they will send you home if you're not in labor. No harm, no foul.

Many years ago I was a Paramedic. I have delivered 7 babies.......I promis, you will know, and everything will...come out OK.

The first one usually takes a while anyway. It's the third one that you can lose on the way to the hospital if you don't keep your legs closed tight.
