Hey everyone... We are launching our first ever VALENTINE"S POEM contest! The winner will recieve a 25 dollar gift cert to TGIfidays and a box of chocolates!!!  
Heres the scoop... You have untell noon Feb. 14th to choose someone from mingle that you know, want to know or are good friends with already.. You view their profile and photos and get CREATIVE!!! Your poem will be judged on creativity, it can be funny, sassy, serious, sappy, sarcastic or even sorry..(but in good taste) Be sure to start the poem with who you are writing it for at the top! Beauty and myself will judge with Beauty announcing the winner early s evening..(since you all will have dates and be going out! 
So let the contest begin....Good Luck! My Valentine Forever My Dear Hope as I held your hands, in the dim lit room There we said our last goodbyes I bowed my head in sorrow As tears would fill my eyes I looked up to the ceiling As my heart would break in two Seeking His comfort somehow that day Not knowing what else to do There I quietly whispered "Dear Lord, please tell me… why? There I bowed beside the bed I kissed my love goodbye Couldn't we have had? Just one more day, maybe even a month or a year? To say all the things we left unsaid All the things our hearts held dear Then I looked back down Upon my loves, sweet and gentle face There I saw a soul now touched by peace With tender healing grace Though I hurt so deeply My heart now truly knew No more pain would you suffer This I would not wish for you The Lord had quietly taken you Right before my eyes In the twilight of the evening In faintness of twinkling skies There the Lord would place comfort… Upon my heart... in always knowing That someday we'll be together again Sharing all we ever wanted to say With you... My love My always sweetest friend Knowing that you were my wife & also my lover I will miss you my dear Your kids will miss there Mother. |

I should have known That, not looking, I'd find Her in the end I was only looking for a friend My broken heart, so freshly on the mend... Only a glance Just happenstance The last place that I thought She would appear I never dreamed that I could meet Her here So unprepared, She filled me with such fear... A Woman strong and beautiful beyond my dreams Experience says that She can't be what She seems But when She smiles I'm lost! Into your soul, I want to be a part. Into our life, you would be the most perfect wife. Into our spirits let them soar forever with-in GOD'S light. This was my way of showing you how much I see in you and me. And now I must ask you if you would be mine. My dear sweet lady, would you be my forever Valentine?
