My son told me that Valentines Day wasnt a real holiday so he wasnt going to get me anything!!  I think Im going to burn all of his socks!!!    tell him that neither is his birthdays since the post office and banks aren't closed. so he can expect nothing when his birthday rolls around. |

The fact that I think Valentine's Day is just another day disguised as an opportunity for commercial gluttony, so card stores, gift shops, jewelry stores, candy stores, florists, and restaurants can all bring up their profit margins in one fell swoop? Mmmkay, but I thought this was the perfect thread for it.
