Alright ladies, lets get together once the kids are grown!!!  Should only be about 12 years for me  I have never done it before and would like to, but I am with ledi, I have a kido to take care of... I can't really put myself into that type of risk. That's what my mom said to me last year when I wanted to do it. So, I didn't. I'd really like to try it though. About the same here!  Let's set a date!

When and where do they have chute rentals or do I bring own? not sure got to do research on that was just trying to get a feel for who might want to go with us so i could get a rough estimate on party size |

I'd rather go base jumping... too bad it's illegal in the US (or so they say).
I'd say the best part of skydiving is the free fall maneuvers, I mean the canopy stuff is fun, and you usually have a better view, but it's not as exciting, and the landing is always the most nervewracking... I mean, it's not the jump that kills you, it's the landing .

Bah you are in OK. I'm in Texas. I wanna do it but to be honest I would rather go hang gliding more than anything.

gonna go skydiving towards the end of the summer some time always wanted to try it ive got about 5 people around my area interested figured if we could get a big group together a: it would be fun and b:might be able to get cheaper rates the normal rate around this area with lessons and first jump seems to be around 250 to 350 guys, gals if anyone is interested and if someone is but just doesnt want the added expence of a motel for the weekend i have a spare bedroom and couch and detached air conditioned garage that could set cots up in just trying to figure out whos interested and then start working out a date that works for everyone than ill get the rest of it set up I've already got 108 jumps in. I'd be down but I won't be able to get away |

I made the req'd 5 jumps in the army. Don't have the knees for it anymore.
Note to the guys- for a tandem jump, which they'll have to be- you have to be no more than 220 lbs or so, depending on the size of the instructor. |
