I would not.. I have no way of meeting anyone in prison in the first place but if I met someone and they were going away I wouldn't even go think about a relationship..

Write...Or be with someone in prison...If they was getting out soon? NO WAY! First and foremost.....they will not be able to get employment, due to their history. Second, they need a place to live.....guess what they are going to ask you next? That's not always the case. They want employment bad enough they'll find it. Yes it maybe harder for them to find a job but like I said they want it they'll find it. Place to live is the same way.

good people you are...you can go to jail for pocketing a candy bar...just asking cause im a do a few weeks for child support... but got my child 90 percent...Just a question

Anymore people do go to jail for simple things like theft or child support.

Wouldn't matter. It almost always takes some effort to go to prison. I wouldn't want to become involved with someone that made that kind of effort. That's not to say I wouldn't help them or even employ them. But I wouldn't attach my emotional wagon to them.

I guess it's hard to just start it out that way but I think most of our minds went to actual criminals (not going to get into a dead beat dad convo, I know those are out there too)...

It could be that the mother of the child is not willing to accept anything less and reported him non stop until they take him in. My step-father never payed a dime and my mom pretty much made sure he would get caught non stop and have to spend time in jail. He was a ****ty father, but turns out we have the same humor and traits so I don't hold it against him. However I wouldn't let him live with me as he would most likely do something stupid and skip out on the rent because he is a moron like that.

If he has his child 90 % of the time the idea of him having to even pay cs is stupid. Yet that maybe the only way to make the dead-beat parents get the idea they need/have to help support their children.

I mean we all make choices in life.. what we do with those choices is another story. some make good ones some don't.. so it comes down to would you be with someone who makes bad choices? and it not affect you?
