No, I don't think so.

I think the problem is, if we're talking about ethics in the human sense, then you go into it with the preconceived notion that human life has some intrinsic, inherent value -- which is a bias built upon our own vested interests.

A computer has no compelling reason to start from that same value system (perhaps one could adjust the program to incorporate the bias, but that would be "cheating," in my opinion).

well that depends on how you mean to computerize them
my final project in Rit was a self aware emotions program and by the program making choices different results would occur so i believe you could program ethics into a computers.
