Antarctica's losing 30 something miles of ice each year.

Now ask yourself. In the ideal environment for life on this planet, are the polar ice caps necessary? The earth already looks much different than it did 40 years ago, from space. I've yet to see any actual evidence that the changes to this planet are actually bad for us.

You are right, it's a good thing we aren't polar bears though.

Oh yea, that's a threat... Like a polar bear isn't going to find dry land.

Save the whales
Save the polar bears
feed them politicians and Lawyers.

So, everything is just hunky dory as far as you are concerned? We are wasting our time working for renewable clean energy? Just wondering. By the way, the problem for the polar bears is that they need the ice to hunt the seals that are their main food source.

Did anyone see Al Gore's movie "An inconvenient truth?"

(I didn't.)

What do you think about all this severe cold weather we have going on here in America?

Al Gore's "documentary" is nothing more than a money-making scheme not unlike those Barak Obama specialty plates The Franklin Mint will sell you for $29.95. He essentially partnered up with his studio buddies (the same ones Gore's partner-in-crime Bill Clinton helped when he signed NAFTA into law back in 10/2003) come up with pro-planet propaganda meant to sell movies and push the farce that is "extremist environmentalism".

Should we take care of the environment? Absolutely. But NOT via shoddy free-trade legislation designed to pass off our environmental responsibilities to some third-world country for the same of the all mighty dollar, which have nothing in the way of environmental laws in the first place. And the LAST thing we should do is listen to the self-important ramblings of a politician and his poorly-researched documentary... a documentary that has been thoroughly debunked by the scientific community, to boot.
....agreed! And before I make my comment- remember- I'm not an armchair quarterback- I'm an enviromentalist. I've planted millions of wildflowers. I've planted millions of wild produce to feed animals and bait them away from the roadways to help reduce car/ animal collisions effectively saving all of us on insurance. I've planted thousands of trees. I've letters of accomodation from my state. I'm being a part of the solution instead of part of the problem like that hack f*ck lying piece of sh!t jetsetter giant SUV motorcade driving c*cksucker AL GORE. Just remember- Al Gore has planted a lot. Yeah a lot of tobacco. His family are tobacco farmers heavily involved in special interests to line their pockets just like his bias filled hack movie. Al Gore lies to get rich. Scumbag rich.

My 86 dodge pickup truck gets 31 miles to the gallon with the 2 and a half gallon hydrogen fuel cell I built and installed in it and runs cleaner than any other vehicle out there. Why don't all our cars run on water/ hydrogen fuel cells? I will tell you why....because car companies, oil companies, and hack politicians like AL Gore got their nose so far up union labors ass they will run themselves outta business before helping the environment. F*ck them. I ever meet al gore I'm gonna pee on his shoes. F*cker.

Wanna save the environment? **** al gore. Think of how much fuel, electricity, and tax dollars, and special interest money would be saved. He's the waster. Not me.

I'm counting on it. I bought property in Arizona figuring that between the rising sea levels and the big earthquake knocking California into the sea, I'll have ocean front property one day.

LOL if that happens can I rent a spare room ROFLMBO

Yes, that's what I'm saying. Seals need somewhere to sleep too. I'm guessing it'll be dry land in the absense of ice.

Until you've did half of what I've done for this planet you can do just like al gore- kiss my heinie. I've put billions of pounds of toxic waste in highly controlled and regulated sites so everyone don't have to eat it and drink it. Go hug a tree. I probably planted it.

And if the Theory Of Evolution holds any water at all...the polar bears will adapt to their environment....or they will go extinct. Survival of the fittest. Plain and simple.

More creatures have gone extinct, than exist right now. That's just the way it is.

That is nature at it's best, and worst.
