Topic: Rams get Dante Hall..... | |
---|---|
The Rams traded their 5th round pick and switched 3rd round picks with
the Chiefs to get Dante Hall WR/KR/PR. Uh oh. |
Damn skippy "Uh Oh". Now with a little defensive help we should be
set. |
I figured you'd like that! I'm just juiced about the draft in a few days!! |
Me too! I'm still hoping Patrick Willis falls to us but I have this
ugly feeling that the Bills are taking him at #12. In any case it'll be interesting, it's so muddled after the first couple of picks anything could happen. |

I hate to tell ya bro, but I think he was politicin to go to the 49ers.
He said somethin to the NFL.com folks that he liked workin with Mike Singletary and Mike Nolan at the Senior Bowl. I gotta be honest, I wouldn't be the slightest bit upset if we got him, cuz he's a great character player, and that's what Coach Nolan is goin for. But on the other hand, Dewayne Jarrett will most likely be there, as well as Adam Carriker the DE from Cal, so ya never know. We need a reliable healthy player for Alex Smith to throw to besides injury-prone Arnaz Battle and the non-blockin TE Vernon Davis, but we had the league's worst pass-D last year, so ANYBODY on D will help us. Especially MLB though, cuz I freakin can't stand Ulbrich in there. EVERY TIME he was in on D, the other team either scored up the middle, or had a HUGE play. |
Hell, even Buster Davis as our MLB wouldn't upset me either, cuz who
better to teach a short LB than Mike Singletary? |
Great p/u.

dante hall is washed up, thats why the cheifs got rid of him. He had a
few good years but that is all behind him now |
I damn sure hope so, my 49ers gotta play his ass twice a year now!

I am a die hard Rams fan they needed someone for special teams because they have sucked in recent year on special teams with some defensive help they signed some people and their offense will be better they signed drew bennett from tennessee they could make a run this year
He's too small. True a good punt returner or 3rd option wide-out. But worth 2 picks???
The Rams have an awesome offense and a somewhat good defense they had to have someone for special teams and he was the best player available. i think he will have a big impact on this team and their shot at the playoffs

I've always heard that Bulger is lazy and doesn't really care. Any truth to that???? Anyone.
I've never heard that BR, but I can tell you that it's not true. Last year was Bulger's first under a coach other than Martz and even with a new system and terminology he managed to have his best season yet. With a year in the system, a couple of new weapons in Bennett and McMichael; and with Jackson (who caught 90 passes and out gained L.T. in total yardage), Holt, and Bruce (both of whom are likely H.O.Fers) returning he'll be keying a pretty damn good offense. If the "D" can keep people under 21 points a game we'll win a lot of games.

Whats faulk's status??
Retired, but like Jake Plummer hasn't filed the required paperwork.
I heard Faulk may stay on as the running backs coach for the rams. I enjoyed watching him in his prime.
From what I've heard out of St. Louis he's going to stay with the NFL network for this year and maybe next until a position in the front office (either asst GM or something in player personnel) opens up, with the eye on him eventually becoming the GM a la Ozzie Newsome.
that would be awesome to see Faulk become the GM he did a great job on NFL network last year
