Nahhh, you can go to federal prison for not paying your taxes if you want to. Death yes unless reincarnation is an actuality I highly doubt it but ya never know!! And if you die you no longer have to pay taxes, hmmmmm!! thinking hard on this one, confusid (yep know its spelled wrong)

Taxes are forever as long as you're alive, and death is forever as long as you're....umm....dead.

Yeah....that's right.

But that not forever because you were alive and not dead, and taxes only when your alive and not dead...how is that forever? as in infinitely

Just curious - do many single women on this dating site and others portray themselves as attached or "married" when they are actually not, or is it a very small number?

I had no idea....

I don't see the purpose of lying in any circumstance.

Me either.....seems an odd thing to do. Esp. on a "dating" site.....laugh Oh yes, they are only here for the forums. I keep forgetting that.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. However, out in public sometimes it wouldn't be a bad idea as there is a real stigma attached to single women in some instances. Married women think you are after their men, single women don't want the competition and those remaining wonder what the heck you did to cause your divorce (I.E. you must be a horrible person). Well, that's generalizing, but I've experienced it.

Tell me about it. ohwell

All the same, I'd never wear a wedding ring in public if I was single. Makes no sense to me.

Rings - pseudo-married.. it's a jungle out there. Some call it "maze brightness", that capability of figuring out what's going on, but with as little data as possible. If you're really good at it, you can figure it out from body language. The ring is superficial. The best way to proceed is to ask questions... alluding to the mate.. After a few rounds of remarks, you should be able to figure it all out. I admittedly have been flummoxed by such. Equally frustrating is the adult that does NOT wear wear a ring. Those gals that I have come across that do such but are married, usually make a family remark that sets things straight. Finally, I think that the gals doing such, use it also as a tool to separate out the dummies and disinterested guys. Obviously, if they are by themselves or with girlfriends in a mixer environment, they are trolling for a love interest, or a free drink... who knows. I often play the game of 20 questions... to see how much I can learn with a series of guided questions. Finally, a friend once told me "If you want something, ask for it... you might just get it!"

Good observations, but that's one of the first things I look for on a woman....a ring. Unless I can tell that it's obviously something other than a wedding ring, I won't even bother with conversation, I'll just shine her on. I'm not a big one for initiating conversation in the first place, so I'm certainly not going to deliberately invite rejection. I don't step on toes, so the moment I hear anything resembling a reference to a significant other, I'm outta there. Thanks, nice meeting you, it's been a slice, 'bye.

At least, that's the way I used to do it. I've since wised up and made the choice of staying alone.
