Yes plain and simple it is a lie, some women aren't raised to protect themselves or even know how too sometimes. I guess I could see how it could be used as a defense.

i agree with the intent is different although... it still is a lie... to me it shows weakness to just say no.. rather than to have to deal with it... furthermore if they do get into a relationship and have some sort of issue they dont want to deal with or discuss are they just gonna lie about that too? it is still wong in my eyes.....hence is the reasoning why i think they should put up a taken or in a relationship status on here.....
