Okay Im REALLY annoyed. I got a new kayboard for my online gaming. ITs a pretty gaming macro keybaord for easy play. UNFORTUNATLY with the game I play the keyboard does not work.
Its "anti bot" program does NOT allow you to use any keyboard that allows you to move keys from one key to another. I play a game where F keys are ALL YOUR HOT KEYS. which anyone whom has a keyboard can see is VERY annoying.
I wanted to move all my Macros to the Number pad. Doesnt seem like much of an issue but Gamguard (or what every they use) does not like it. GAHHHH!

It seems more to be the case with the anti-bot program than your keyboard. You might want to see if there are any updates to the game you're wanting to play- they might just iron out the problems you're having.

If your keyboard came with software to set macros and stuff, then check to see if there's updates available for that too.

Yeah. It would seem that anti-cheat software does more harm than good- they essentially step over themselves trying to prevent cheating and piracy.

The worst thing is that your options are rather limited with regard to how to remedy the situation. Other than updating your game or hardware, that is.

yeah already did those updates and emailed the company. unfortunatly the company doesnt open until 9am EST. when i'll be asleep. grr. THey are generaly open the hours i have to be in bed.

That's part of the trouble with software and hardware companies- they always end up opening and closing at times that are most inconvenient to you.

The best I can say is to wait for some sort of response. And chances are that it won't be be-all-and-end-all you expect it to be. If anything, they'll probably just give you a bunch of nebulous corporate speak meant to befuddle you.

A lot of anti-cheat software in games don't allow the use of macro's. Basically, if you can program the macro's correctly, you can dish out a hefty amount of moves with one keystroke.

This is exactly why I'm not a PC gamer.

Best way too go actually, I can do a hell of a lot more with Grand Theft Auto IV on the PC then you can on your console. Seems gamers get lazy and want one solid make of a system that will run infinitely, I will always be a PC gamer because if there is something I don't like in a game I can modify it out or change it.

And that is exactly why I am not a PC gamer. I don't have the inclination or the patience to learn to modify and change it, and if I did know, I still wouldn't deem it worth the effort. Maybe that makes me a lazy gamer. So be it then.

What is this thing called 'Keyboard'?

Buy disc, open disc, put disc in cd tray, close cd tray, play game. Simple gaming. If a game has enough issues and flaws that I would seriously like it to be modded, then it's not worth buying.

Sounds about time to start Modding. Gameguard won't know if you "physically" move the buttons (or atleast the connections) invest in learning a new hobby.
