What is the true wisdom of the years?

Is it to just cry endless tears?

If this living is so much fun.

Why then do so many feel a need to run.

And if dying is to be so blessed, and thought after.

Then why aren't all Christians Super Hero's?

Fear lies in the hearts of us all, as to when we will fall.

Yet, do we delight in the thought, and throw a Ball?

If death was this magical world of peace and love.

Then everyone would be trying to die, push, hit, and shove.

We are further apart now as human beings.

With NO-ONE ever really knowing, or seeing.

3000 year old stories. 3000 years of fears, and tears.

Still with-out in my face truth to why, when, where and who

Dig me a hole, say a few words, lay me down. THIS is true.

What sanity lies in separation for what one believes in?

Knowing that you your self DO NOT REALLY KNOW!

But yet PEOPLE JUDGE! People DIE. THIS,,,,,YOU CALL LIVING?

However WE were created or placed here.

WE WERE PUT HERE TO BE AS ONE. With each other. Not fear.

Because NOTHING ELSE makes BETTER sense.......

No one's better than I , nor I better than another.

Why can't YOU and everyone just LOVE one another.

Thank you PKD,,,it sometimes takes a person who is strong and sure of who THEY are..
To reply to SOMETHING so Truthful, wink, lol, lol

MANY fear more their after life as to THIS LIFE...

Me,,I LIVE TO BE REAL,,,and if THAT offends SOME...
To bad,,,To see and be and to TRY, is NOT much to REALLY DO...
But so many haven't a clue as where to start THEIR trying at!

FOLKS, try this,,,,REMOVE ALL YOUR PREJUDICES and SEE another person as YOUR "EQUAL"....

No color, no religion, no wealth, no sex, JUST,,A fellow HUMAN.

How simple IS THAT?????

Try it,,,,I DARE YOU ALL........  flowerforyou

I think that your opening explained what the body of the writing was describing.
Age. Experience.
As young people (or young at heart)
we dared to do the unthinkable (for we had not thought of it yet)
and accomplish sometimes the unachievable (for we did not know that it could not be achieved)
and we loved everyone (not warped into believing that some people are unlovable)
and we enjoyed everything (for it was all REAL and not pretenses and logic)
and we lived most fully to just enjoy living (for there was no other purpose to life)
and we also were not deciding beforehand what was the top priority in life (for we had no inner emptiness to fill; nothing to achieve before our time of mortality ended)
and we were not making ourselves alone/lonely (for all that was needed was to go see someone else, and say, "Let's do something.")
Age, and experience, we trained ourselves to live less and to enjoy less and to replace fulness of life with emptiness or unfulfilling waiting.

You made me think, man.

Thats cool man,,and as for me.
I am so tired of thinking about life...
To live for me is to question. And to face all possible results of our reality...
The older I get, the more I just realize one inevitable truth. "LIFE IS VERY SHORT"!
So everyone should live theirs to its fullest potential.
And do it all with compassion and respect for everyone.
There I go talking to much again,,lol wink,

Yes life is short, and to live it with new eyes, open heart and fulfilled soul, is to have lived a wonderful full life with no regrets...

We are 'one', always have been, always will be, we just need to get over ourselves to see this...

Your poem is fantastic and enlightening...

Great piece. There is a lot to think about there. I'm sure I am butchering it, but I remember a philosopher saying the only life not worth living is the unquestioned life.

Nice write bro. It seems that many have forgotten life as it should be lived.

The bumps along lifes path sometimes strenghten us. If we do not experience rough patches in life we forget there is a God and the need to pray. A good write T. flowerforyou
