i love poetry and i wish i could get my thoughts down as beautifully as
everyone else does...this is my start! be honest!
"TO FEEL AND FEAR"
to feel alone when you are surrounded by friends
to fear social interaction because of the anxiety of speech mistakes
this is what i feel and fear
to feel like no one cares about you even when they say they do
to fear death when it is the only thing you desire
this is what i feel and fear
to feel overwhelmed by failure when you only want to succeed
to fear the darkness as it swells up inisde of you
this is what i feel and fear
the problem is that i fear what i feel

yeah im fine...just had bad day...i'm very emotional at times. i thought
it would be a good idea to get it all out and i wanted to make them
sound pretty like professional poets write!

you wanna know a secret hun?

them "professinal poets" are poeple just like you and me and everyone
else. they feel just like we do, and the hurt and love just like us as
well. So dont think you have to "try" to make it look like they do
cause as long as you put your heart into it, the it shines above all
else.

cool, thanks for the advice! i decided to start writing poetry becuase
it sounded like more fun than writing complex naratives...i am in AP
composition and literature so we write a lot...poetry sounded like fun
