You say you want a love
Someone different than the rest
Tell me are you looking

No matter who we are
We're all different yet the same
Most all of us have hurt
But still we play the game

Most hearts you'll find are tender
Yet broken to the core
Stained with salty tears
From relationships before

Some hide behind their words
Covered deep in charms
Others play their games
To avoid the deep felt harm

Still others find their comfort
And brave the winds of change
Boldly they are willing
To chance a love again

Be mindful of your feelings
Don't judge what you don't see
Listen to your heart
