So I was talking to this guy, a few times on the phone and mostly in e-mail. This went on several weeks.

The first conversation was about the death of his mother, the size and cost of her house, his father leaving his mom right before Christmas, his probate legal battles with his father, his friend being killed by his wife poisoning him with radiator fluid, his mom's best friend not being able to make it to the funeral....

Whew!

So this continued, but on top of that was his talking about money, all the time. I sent a very tactful e-mail about how uncomfortable I was about the money stuff, and I got a 2 page e-mail explaining WHY he was so stressed about money.

Maybe he was just finally glad he had someone to vent to.

I just don't get how anyone could think it was okay to share detailed information like that, so fast?

We never met... in fact his verbal diarrhea kept me from agreeing to a date. I was thinking maybe I just caught him at a bad time and he'd see what he was doing. But no.

It's good to open up at the beginning but to much is to much, he sounds like he is someone that likes to talk to himself mostly and whoever is on the other end as to listen.
