this guy told me that guys and girls have a different perspective of what attracts them. he also told me that they have a different version of what beauty means to guys.

I think there is a huge difference.

But only on some things.

And on other things they are very much the same.

girls are attracted to alpha males while guys are attracted to hot sexy babes!

i think everyone is attracted to something....including persoanlity aspects..

I believe most people have a 'type' and also things they are looking for...

Well let's see how well you take a person being blunt.

Most guys base what they consider "attractive- P.C. term for do-able" on what they think they can pull. A butt ugly guy will tend to have lower standards knowing that he has limited options. While a well off/attractive man wouldn't touch a women over 150 lbs. Age, financial success, baggage and over all horniness factor in as well. In the end our level of what we find attractive changes as we do.

As far as beautiful. Have only told 2 people they are beautiful my entire life. This is a person i find "attractive" on the outside and just as perfect on the inside. Not a term i throw around... and only love factors into my decision on using that term.

Well I think the woman above are all pretty.

Many a time has a "HOT" chick turned out to be very ugly. Usually after they open their mouth and something ridiculously stupid, immature, or arrogant comes out.

Attraction and beauty are a combination of mental AND physical features. If we were all blind, we wouldn't be so judgmental, and we would find that just about EVERYONE has some beauty to offer.

I have to agree, but my criteria is all inclusive. If my eyes are open and I see a beautiful woman, and if my eyes are closed, I still see a beautiful woman, that's close enough. Unfortunately, more commonly, intuition kicks in and when I look at the big picture I see a woman not ready to have a relationship with any man and I chose to be a friend regardless of what level of attraction I feel for her.

It all depends on the guy. If he is looking to have sex with you then leave you then he is going to look at your physical features only because that is what he will use to try to determine whether he wants to pursue a sexual encounter, but a man who wants to actually be with you will be attracted to the things about you that cannot be seen, but heard and felt.


I like women who remind me of myself

I could only tell you what is attractive or beautiful to me.

There is no "Universal Male Preference" -- I'm really quite sure of that, since the people I find attractive are rarely, if ever, the ones other guys find attractive.

Same here...other then the one's I'm attracted too typically run, for whatever reason. Still haven't figured out what I do or did wrong, figure it is a puzzle...and I hate puzzles.
