...for a newcomer to post an invitation in the forums to talk to them anywhere else but in the forums? Instead of dealing with chat with hundreds of strangers, I could have just posted one thread inviting the women to contact me. Is that what really works? Or does it just work for women? Its tasteless and usually isn't permitted on most boards, unless the forum is specifically for personals. I doubt it works with attracting women. |

It must work. Well...live and learn.
Confused here. Do you have proof it works? 
Some do it because they are new and don't know any better. Others do it because they never learn from their mistakes and wonder why it never works. It has to work, dammit! lol For others, as another said, perhaps it attracts the type you'd want to weed out anyway. No real loss there. Rest easy with that.
