It's almost as bad as someone constantly tapping their pen on the desk. Well, no one forces us to read anything here...just sayin'... I just find it frustrating that it seems more and more people are using it. I really don't understand why it seems to be a burr under my saddle, but it's like a broken record or something. signatures are only necessary for legal documents
and I don't understand whats so annoying about it....tiresome maybe.. but everybody has a quality that will at least on occasion irk others its more unfortunate that many chose to mock that irksome quality.. which I would find more aggravating.. so instead of one person with a quirk we end up with a bunch of people...who....well its just sad people.. sad |

The Prisoner is a British 1960s television series starring and co-created by Patrick McGoohan which combines spy fiction with elements of science fiction, allegory and psychological drama. It follows a former British agent who, after abruptly resigning from his position, is held captive in a small seaside village by an unidentified power that wishes to establish the reason for his resignation. Episodes typically feature the unnamed prisoner, labelled "Number Six" by his captors, unsuccessfully attempting to escape from or change the authority of "the Village". Citizens use the phrase "Be seeing you" as a farewell, accompanied by a waving gesture consisting of thumb and forefinger forming a circle over the eye, then tipped forward in a salute. -wiki wow. you're my hero |

What is with the "be seeing you" at the end of so many posts? Have I missed something? Much ado about nothing. It's simply a parting phrase, like "hasta luego" in Spanish or "see you later" or "goodbye." |

What is with the "be seeing you" at the end of so many posts? Have I missed something? Much ado about nothing. It's simply a parting phrase, like "hasta luego" in Spanish or "see you later" or "goodbye." Yes...& it's got quite a few people's panties in a wad... Now here's a guy annoying people with three simple words...most jerks would act like jerks in order to annoy people...whether or not it's his intention to annoy people, it's definitely an original tactic...BRILLIANT! |

I was just asking because I read a couple of threads that it seemed almost every post ended with it. It was a little monotonous and I was curious. I even had to check to see if the thread was titled: Be seeing you.
Geeeeessshh... Sorry I brought it up... Y'all need to lighten up... life's too short... it was just a discussion. Now to coin a phrase: I'm OUTTA here..... and yes, Be seeing you. |

This thread cracks me up...we've have had a lot of jokers in the Whitehouse...I say "Prisoner for President!" Whoo hoo! I like it when someone comes up with something a little different, and has a unique posting style. Of course it also doesn't hurt that "The Prisoner" is my favorite TV show of all time, so there's plenty of opportunity to toss in a few really esoteric references, too. People like Prisoner and Deaths Treaty, to name two, should be encouraged to keep being who they are, to keep doing what they do, rather than be seen as annoying or threatening just because they've chosen not to follow the herd. If you don't like their posts, don't read them. It's really quite simple. |
