Well... It's raining here in N. Florida today, which has effectively postponed any work I could be doing. No work means no paycheck this week, as I needed to complete the project this week to be paid before the end of next week.

My rent is way past due and my landlord has given me notice. I have untill saturday...

My power steering's out on my one and only vehicle. It started leaking fluid like a siv recently. It's going to eat up about a week's pay to get it fixed, plus the time it's in the shop will cost me...I'm driving it anyways...


I heard news from a fellow aquaintance yesterday of a former co-worker's suicide.
You see the contractor that we both worked for went belly up in his business just last november and it left all of us employees scrambling for work. This man, his name was Don, was around 55 with no immediate family. He had recently, before the downturn, just bought himself a new high dollar pick-up truck on credit and after the business collapsed, he couldn't make the payments and it was repo'd by the bank.
He was then stuck at home with no way to even get to a job if he found one, so he shot himself in the head.
I worked with him a few times and only slightly knew him.
I regret not having taken the extra time to get to know him better. He seemed like a nice enough guy. Now it's too late.

The point of this post is that even though I do have significant challenges (problems) I'm facing, the only real regret that matters is that I can't go back in time and change how I missed the opportunity to potentially befriend someone and tell them about Christ's amazing love.

My problems are nothing. They only exist in this world.

My Lord and Saviour abides in me and he's promised me personally through his word and Spirit that I shall not want, and that if he is with me, no one can be against me.

I'm praying for this man's soul. I'm praying that God turns my regret into wisdom and my confusion into compassion.

I'm having extreme faith that my prayers will be answered.

I didn't die on the cross, I'm not Job...I have no problems... just faith...



I thank the Lord Jesus and bless his precious Holy name for all his many glorious blessings, past, present and future.
