Hey winters almost over in WI you can see the deer out in the fields thats hilarious I like. Oh and for a final tally, we got 15" of snow with more expected tomorrow, and this California migrant got a valuable lesson about what the snow plows do to curbs and how inept vehicles are for climbing snow, and to be very liberal with salt in the driveway. The car is safely housed in the normal and thawing position in the garage and I'm thinking it's cheesecake time. |

Joe,
Salt in the driveway won't help you when you have 15" of snow. |

If you stocked up on food and such, I wouldn't want out if I were you, unless there is no one else there at all. If that is the case, I am so sorry and will cry for you!!

There's too much fun to be had, like sticking a boot and gloves into a mound of snow and wait for someone to notice. Why would I let a little snow get in the way of fun? |

We got 12.8 inches of snow. Most snow fallen in 58 years the paper says.

My brother lives in Louisville, KY. They don't have electric now from the ice. They won't get it for a week. That means no heat or hot water. And it's cold there!

My brother lives in Louisville, KY. They don't have electric now from the ice. They won't get it for a week. That means no heat or hot water. And it's cold there! I know! He already had planned to come back home this weekend for a visit and is trying to get his work to let him leave sooner. The ice caused a few branches of one of his trees to break and land on a neighbor's electrical wires. The wires broke. He has to pay for that now. But..even if they didn't break, there is no electric. |
