why is it that you all say you want a great guy that nice and sweet and all that b.s. then when one treats you great you treat him like dirt?

I think some women are into head games, and really don't know what they want.

i never possibly imagined that there could be so many 'nice guy' threads. i think they even have 'does size matter' beat.

OP, to me 'nice guy' equates to a guy who allows himself to be walked all over and there aren't very many women i know who desire a guy like that.

if you think they treat you like dirt, stop allowing yourself to be put in the position that gives them freewill to treat you that way.

also, just 'being nice and sweet' doesn't guarantee that the woman is going to feel a spark, chemistry, rapport, attraction, etc.

It's a whole package thing. When "some" women think of their ideal "nice guy", it is totally different from actually encountering one. He may be nice, but he still does not meet up to the woman's expectation. *Shrugs*

I feel that me being a man and wanting something "nice" you have to be willing to start from the begining. You just have to hope for the best and treat the person the way you would want to be treated noting!! is set in stone. Be true to yourself for they I am sure can see if your truthful or not.

Um...are ya maybe hookin' up with the wrong women? Just a thought. I mean...all men are not great guys, you know? I'm assuming the same goes for all women. So, maybe, just maybe, you're hookin' up with some not so sweet women?

Or, then again...maybe I'm not sure what you mean. Are we talking women being really mean to you...or women who are simply not interested in you? Not everyone is going to 'click' with you. Not all women are that way. There are a few of us out here that really do want a nice guy. I have met men that claim to be a "nice guy" just to find out they are jerks. Keep looking you will find her, she out there.
