I think a group of friends meeting would be better anyways. It's easier to have a group conversation in my opinion than just two people that don't know each other that well. Unfortunately all of my friends deployed so if it does work out then I won't be bringing anybody with me.

No I meant reservations about the person you intend on meeting, not asking them..i.e. if you feel they want more than you do at the time
if their behavior has in some way raised red flags...but not so severe that you would stop talking to them altogether. I have met a few who say hey, lets meet in the next thirty minutes and see where things go... with no prior convo.. and thats just unnerving
now if we have been chatting and the conversation is going well i see no reason not to meet in person provided its an option

Also, I didn't just start talking to them today, but it really hasn't been that long so I dunno. I'll probably wait a couple of days maybe. Just so this thread will be long forgotten and they won't remember that it was probably meant to see their response.

Haha! I had this happen once. I went to the movies with some friends and there was a girl working at the counter that I found very interesting and attractive. So me and my buddy go up to talk to her and just converse to see what she was like. Turns out they hit it off waaaay more than me and her did. I tried to convince him to get her number, but he wouldn't do it. I didn't go back because to me with them hitting it off, I thought it would have been awkward to get her number for myself.

however long they wanna take. don't think I ever met a woman that could really beat my ass, tie me up, or force me to do anything I don't wanna do. So there's not too much reason to be guarded about it.

If I was actually going to meet a woman I thought could and would do that, I'd be packing a pistol that could stop a bear. And I don't date women larger than bears.
