Krimsa,

You are being way too defensive, and your perception of my intent is completely inaccurate. I am not and have not been attacking you. We are clearly not seeing this conversation in the same way.

I mentioned the "simple minded" and "common" description not in an effort to belittle you or your capability, I mentioned it in an effort to give someone whom I feel is an intelligent and capable person a reflection of how their expressions may be misrepresenting their thought.

I wonder if I misunderstood your thoughts to begin with, and have been attempting to pursue an unattainable goal. I thought that you were open-minded and did not ascribe to forms of gender bias.

Evidently, I was wrong.

Your intellectual ability has never been in question from me. I have no reason to be condescending towards you in this. As a matter of fact, I have little to no personal attachment to anything in this other than gaining understanding.

If you cannot perceive the significant difference and contradiction between stating that "men cannot properly communicate" and saying that you feel that most men do not communicate emotion as fluently as most women do, then I have nothing further to add. I feel no need to apologize for your misunderstanding again.

Clearly I have been mistaken in my perception of who you are within.

On the thread topic...

If females originated language as a result from being at home in the cave performing tasks which enabled the possibility of language to exist whilst the men were gone on long hunting excursions which did not, then what happened to those who lived very close to their food source?

What about those peoples who situated on a lakefront, and had lives of which there was obviously no need to go on long hunting excursions?

Did all of the males go?

Most importantly though is this...

Before the first long hunting excursions was language non-existent?

The entire claim that women are responsible for the origination of human language rests upon the idea that a collaborative effort in the initiation and development of human language did not exist.

Right creative, and some of the sources I have found that illustrate brain development show that cognition was highly developed before the vocal cords descended into the throat.

The fact that the processing centers that are currently used by our brains for language where there pre vocal cords tells us that in all likely hood the ability and desire to communicate predated vocalizations of any complexity.

Yea Krimsa I asked you here to discuss this becuase I thought you where an open minded person who when faced with conflicting reason would seek out information to make any assessment more clear, but you have only parroted your original response and made many misandry comments that are just flat out insulting.
