When I first came here I thought it was to 'date'. I've since decided that this doesn't really work well for me as a 'dating' tool. I'm still open to it, but it's not why I keep coming back. But I do enjoy the forums, the chit chat, the banter and the flirting!

i originally joined because another member of the site told me about it, so i joined up . in the year almost 2 years that i've been posting at times what seems like contantly on here i've made good friends and find interesting topics to discuss or just read on . i figure if' i'm gonna be stuck at home all day with nothing to do but clean and cook , i may as well get on and check out what is happening when i'm not doing anything else

as for a man i already have one so i'm just still here to keep in touch with friends and for conversation

Originally I came here because someone suggested I meet them here. ( e mail exchanges) and that didn't work, so I stayed and looked around to see who is out there ....Maybe , just maybe I would meet someone. Then I got involved in the forums and found for the most part they are fun , and sometimes informative.. There are some really intelligent people on there and then some reall wierd ones... so.. now its a mixture of why I am here...

I am here for what we all wish for.........to genuinely fall in love with a good, kind soul.

Ya it's interesting. I've online dated for 5 years, met tons of great guys and some losers. Had more drinks and dinner than I can talk about. And some relationships too.

When I get burned I say "never again" .. internet dating isn't working for me.

BUT ..

The amount of times I've been burned are really small compared to the fun and good memories & hot dates and lovers I've had . So ya ..

I guess they HAVE worked for me. GO FIGURE eh?
