I started out almost 2 yrs ago looking to meet someone here. But so far, I've met one guy who wanted a quick bang session, I've met one guy who was psycho and everyone else I like is way too far away, I also took almost a year off cause I met someone. I love the forums, they make me laugh, they make me smile, they make me shake my head in amazement. But for now, I am here for the friends I have already made and for the new ones I'll meet in 2009. If I meet someone I'll never turn it away, but I am also okay if I don't meet someone.

I agree, actually ALL of my really close friends I have met online over the last 6 or so years. My best friend in the world I met on a different site. I can't picture my life without him in it. We don't talk everyday, but I love knowing we are only a call or a text apart.

I've been busy...what can I say

The journey has taken its toll, yet already I am having more of a start on building a new life than I have known for several years.
That is why my initial remark was about earning and saving $$...increasing options to live more of a new life.
As for relationships though...I remain skeptical of their real value, aside from friendship.
Having once married for over 20 years, I know of no good reason to pursue such a dream again.
I must catch up with the world, and learn to live well according to the facts of life for a person aiming at their sixties.

Tina Turner? Pffffffft. Renewal of millionaire lifestyle and the investments/assistance of that crowd in which one moved is entirely different than if an undiscovered talent of 69 strode onto American Idol, starting at zero.

I am starting at zero. Homeless, destitute, and living on the streets, one year ago. Now, employed and on hard-earned vacation, it is a new life.

Perhaps, when I am 69, much more will be feasible than I can now foresee.

Life is new for me every single day. If a day's circumstances broadside me @ 4 pm on a quiet afternoon, I just breathe deep and know that once my head hits the pillow I start ALLL over again ..

Well I'm not sure that's the entire reason I'm here .. I mean I am a professional multi-tasker.

Multi-tasker...geeze I do that everyday. Between juggling my son's special needs, his teachers, therapists, doctors, nurses, appointments, and still trying to work full time and keep our household running. Its busy, but he's worth every minute.
