Job? Nobody told me I needed one of those icky things! Really, a job. Ick. I haven't had a job in this century. Well, maybe one kind, but anyway none that relate to actually working.

I invent stuff for the podiatric community, and own my business outright. I get to play mostly, and when a creative (manic) moment comes along, apply it to something new. That, and I crank tunes while I play, until just that right magical thought comes along. Right now, I'm having a Luthor Vandross moment and contemplating how so much lint lands in my belly button.

My current job? Hate it now...loved it for over 9 years but the last 15 months have gone more and more downhill. BUT...

I have been offered a great new position with an other organization...should be inking the paperwork this weekend and WOO-HOO! Can leave 'em wondering how they'll manage without me (for a while...until they forget I was ever there, as will be the case with any corporate environment!)

Still love my job even though my new boss is a total control "beotch" freak. My employees love me coz' I always put the gloves on for them and make things happen rather than talk about making things happen
I just love to kick a$$ and take names!

I work with dogs for a living which translates to "I play all day long and get paid for it." It doesn't pay much but I'm incredibly happy.

FYI, I use to make great money as an accountant but I was miserable sitting at a desk all day. Best thing I ever did was get the courage to pursue what I wanted to do with my life.

My job stinks. There's longer-than-long hours... there's moving and lifting of VERY heavy equipment... there's handling of toxic materials on a regular basis... there's dealing with complete jerks... and the work is inconsistent at best.

That's why you should look into starting your own business. Look at the things you enjoy doing in life and see if your set of skills translates into something you can make a living at. I'm an owner/operator so I don't have to worry about employees and such.

Just customers. Sometimes they're real idio... uh mommies and daddies.

There's nothing that beats the satisfaction of a good design that forces a customer to admit that their standards are too low.
