i had my daughter when i was 19. and i dated a few guys as where it wasent a problem for them. in fact when i met my ex hubby he was around more than her own dad was, and she came up to me when she was about 3 and ask if he(my ex hubby bf at the time) was her dad, i didnt have a chance to say anything for he ask what she said and i told him, and he yea im your dad... my daughter has always known who her real dad was, but she really didnt want much to do with him. she had tried to be there for him over the past several yrs sense the lady he was with for 9yrs died.

Maybe it's a time for you and your child. Enjoy it and take that time with him. You will be grateful you were given that time. It is better than taking it up with someone who wants only you and not the package. Have fun with your boy. love him much. happy happy

It has to be hard. However, take time and enjoy your little bundle of joy. He will make waiting worth it.

Some guys are insensitive to the amount of time you need with your kids, especially the younger ones. I think it's better to date someone who's been through it.

Me personally, I was raised by a single mom who did a horrible job as a parent. No stepdads or any father figures were ever there for me so I just don't have it within my heart to be able to raise someone else's kid when no one was willing to do that for me.
