hummm it depends one has to be very careful about giving someone second
chances, it could backfire, and Im not being pessimist
just careful.

All I can express here is from personal experiance. 2nd marriage, he was
mentally, verbally and sexually abusive. I kept giving him chances. Oh
i'll change, i'll never do it again. He raped me and that's how I ended
up with my last child. Divorced him back in 2005. I did end up in
another relationship where he started doing what I call the Dr. Jeykl Mr
Hyde thing. Two days after the huge one I was outta there and he still
does't have a clue why I left even after I left a note for him and
explained.

You know there is a saying, "one time their bad, second time my bad".
