Have you ever felt like you only attract psychos or weirdos?

My friends get great laughs from my dating life but seriously it makes me question what am I doing wrong???

i have dated a few weirdos in my time.. only psycho was a old bf when my daughter was little. he was a big time mama boy.. bad mistake. we had been fighing for a week and i was gone taking care of my nephew and i came home and we started arguing again. and he went and got his mom. and i was on the phone with my sister, he came in with a knife. and his mom just stood there and i was freaking out over the phone with my sister.. had the police help me get my stuff out of there...

Well, my friends also look to my dating life for loads of free entertainment and laughs...lol. Matter of fact, they started calling me, "Freak Flypaper" several years ago...lol.

The only advice I can give you is to "change the bait"...it hasn't worked for me but it might work for you...lol.

Seriously, try raising your standards (changing the bait). I shouldn't have said it's not worked for me because it has to a certain extent. I may have raised the bar a bit too much though but that remains to be seen yet.

Oh, and everyone is carrying a bag of chit, my dear. You just have to decide which person you want to have help you carry yours and vice versa.

I sometimes wonder if we want love so much that we don't look deep enough at first glance to see what's inside, or we don't wait long enough to let the real person inside show through.

I am lucky enough that I got to see what my new boyfriend was like before we started dating. I saw how he treated others, especially ladies.

Let me tell you he spoils me rotten!! And he is teaching his teen group to do the same thing!

We just have to really watch people. That's all there is to it. Pay attention to how they react around others, not just superficially, but even when they don't realize someone is watching. That's were we see the real them.

Maybe the wrongs ones are attracted to you but you are always the last one to decide to go out or not with them so look at yourself first maybe it's how you look at someone at the beginning that is wrong try to see if they are the wrong ones before going out with them.

Don't forget this is coming from someone that is still single at 46 and look for his right one so take it with a grain of salt.
