been different than you imagined?

I figured this would be a more interesting thread.

I imagined that I would be in the military, married with a couple babies.
Yet instead I am a Chef, working on a vegetarian cook book hoping to get it published, and single with no kids or boyfriend. |

well, it hasn't really....I kinda of like letting life bring me to people places and events..rather than seeking them out....I can work on a whim or follow a path trying to drive life the way I want it to go often ends up off course

yes it is different than I imagined but in a good way. When I first seen that it was different, I wondered what happend. But as I looked closer I found that I am happy with how it has turned out.

I didn't get the girl. I hate my job. I'm damn near broke. But, my tool is much larger than I could have ever imagined.

Screw all those people who say they dont get anything from these sites.
Maybe I havent found a man yet... but so what... ive got so many awesome friends now...
I dont even care anymore bout all that matchmaking stuff.

been different than you imagined? What I dreamed about as a child just didn't happen. I think the whole thing is totally different than what I imagined. Starting from my professional life to my personal life. |
