How do you get someone who's lost trust in you because of a "he said, she said" story...to trust you again? |

Actions, also they would need to be a little more mature about he said , she said.

It doesn't pay to try and defend yourself in a situation like that, because it only escalates. The best course of action (in my opinion) is to just continue being the person you always are. Everything always comes out in the wash eventually.

If your partner has lost trust in you for the reason of a he or she said thing, then let them go! You never had a trusting relationship in the begining.
Time tells all lies and heals all wounds! |

How do you get someone who's lost trust in you because of a "he said, she said" story...to trust you again? If people dont trust me on my own word then they arent worth having around. If you tell them so, then let them decide who to trust. |

Don't worry about it.
If they really know you, then whatever he/she said isn't going in their favor. |

Been in that sh*t before. Turned out an ex was trying to unsettle things. My answer was fronting the fool to his face and then when he got mouthy thinking him being bigger scared me he found out what it was like getting his ass handed to him. After squeezing the truth from him I confronted my GF at the time and presented proof but she still wouldn't believe me.
Sometimes situations like that have no resolution like the one I was in. I moved on right to her best friend who knew I was not doing what my Ex's ex accused me of. Needless to say when my Ex wanted back in she was permanently dismissed. Trust works both ways ya know. My rule is I never go back to dead relationships! I also will not play "he said she said" ever again. if it comes down to that I tell the girl to just go home! |

How do you get someone who's lost trust in you because of a "he said, she said" story...to trust you again? If they are so insecure that a " he said, she said " rumor makes them lose their trust in you.... I wouldn't be so sure that regaining their trust would be worth the headache. After all, if they believe the crap that others spew once, chances are they are insecure enough to believe it again. It could turn into a never ending battle. |

I'd have to agree...if they can be swayed that easily by a story they overheard, they didn't know you well in the first place (assuming that the story is false.) |
