Is there such a thing as a great lover, or do you have to be compatible with your lover that it makes great sex?

I think you have to be compatible to actually be able to feel that you have a great lover....otherwise, it's just going through the motions

To be great lover's, you need a connection of the mind's. If you're not sure that the other is REALLY into you.......well then, you're not going anywhere.

I agree for the most part... but i do think there are a very select few out there who can be great lovers no matter the partner they are with. Ones who can change and adapt their style.

I believe you CAN BE a great lover, without compatibility with you lover, BUT then the sex loses its unique quality if its just sex, you see??

i often think about 'the player' type how he (or she) seems to be so charismatic that virtually everyone is affected by him/her i saw a movie over the weekend. 'John Tucker Must Die' it was about a popular guy that seemed to get any woman he wanted. the exes in his life banned together (3 of them) and created the new girl to do to him what he did with every woman. She played 'the game' and they did it. They broke his heart as he did with so many other women in his life.

If you love someone then the sex will be good I'd like to agree but 12 years of lousy sex with the man I loved (probably too much if you knew some of the $h!t I put up with) and married with the intention of 'till death we do part" makes me think otherwise. Sexual compatibility is really important too!
