I have no doubt that is possible for me.
I am also sure for some people hearing too much at first probably scares them off. I kind of look at it as their problem. If what you revealed is what you felt like doing at the time and wasn't forced then you were being yourself and that is a good thing. Better that they know your personality than finding out later and being mad that you "changed". The flip side of that is take a breath and relax; people know in the first 30 seconds if they like you and if you flood them with too much information it can feel like you are trying to talk yourself out of them likeing you. Sometimes people feel uncomfortable telling as much about themself so it is not so much what you are telling but what maybe they are not ready to tell you. Many people; especially those out in the work force, generally learn to be a little reserved at first. |
