Yes, but women are also predisposed to select the strongest male with whom to propogate. Through socialization both males and females have conciously made the choice of monogomy. Your theory would have women throwing aside their man to bear children by a "better" male in order to sustain the species. |

For some reason they feel they have to be "breadwinners" in situations...not sure why...they are silly like that!

I agree. But do they consistently seek Tom or Sean to father their children outside of their committed relationship? you bet they do, maybe not physically but when she is ridin' her husband/partner (cowgirl style) and her eyes are closed and about to scream that big O, in her head that poor horsie is non-other than Tom or whatever fantasy she has.
